There was a story in the Wall Street Journal about the executive women of America and how they identify with Hillary Clinton.
These are the women who have sacrificed a great deal and put up with a lot of crap to make it to the boardroom. They have put up with the discrimination, endured the sexual harassment, condescension and humiliation. If you think more mothers should be in the home then you should vote for Hillary. Yes, I mean you Conservative Republicans.
Women work. That’s a fact. But, at this point mothers are all making Sophie’s Choice (A “Sophie’s Choice” is a tragic choice between two unbearable options based on the 1979 novel by William Styron).

Hillaryland

With the 2008 election coming I find my inner-feminist and my inner-Democrat are reawakening after an 8 year sleep.
When I read stories like this Gatekeepers of Hillaryland I honestly get so excited about the potential of America and the potential of women’s roles in America. Hillary has this great feminist tribe of professional women running her show. She seems like a great boss too. Utopia.
I stay home, but I LOVE that these women don’t. I LOVE that they are real players on the American political scene.
We’ve come a long way Baby!
