Ergonomics: a brief video of author Deborah Quilter

Deborah Quilter, the author of the Repetitive Strain Injury Recovery Book, was the subject of this short Healthology video called Repetitive Strain Injury – Causes & Symptoms. Sometimes, it’s nice to see someone describing something, rather than just reading about it.
I had the pleasure of speaking with Ms Quilter yesterday and she is a wonderful resource for ergonomics and RSI injury prevention. I’ll be posting the highlights of our conversation. In the meantime, you may want to check out her site at RSIhelp.com.

Help My Hurt Ergonomic Week & a Contest!

Do you have a repetitive stress injury (RSI) or does someone you know have one? RSIs don’t necessarily have to come from work, but can come from pleasure activities, like golfing or quilting. While many of RSIs can be prevented just by changing how we approach certain tasks – some of them require all out refitting. Unfortunately, that sometimes isn’t a priority for some employers.
