I’m on a big “fit kick” right now (the Spring weather will do that to a girl!) so it is with interest that I caught this article on the right and wrong ways to work out. For example, I LOVE reading while on the exercise bike or treadmill, but did you know you can burn 15 percent more calories if you listen to music instead?

National Start Walking Day

For getting (and staying) in shape there is no better exercise than walking. It’s easy on the joints, you don’t need special equipment, and you can do it anywhere. You can even do it in the comfort of your home with some of the walking DVDs that are on the market. (Like the one we’re giving away here at Blisstree.)

This month’s theme day at the Science and Health Channel is men’s health. Gloria over at Cancer Commentary was gracious enough to host it.
I am writing this post amongst my excitement for the LPGA Championship that is right in my backyard. Yup, up the street at Bulle Rock the ladies will chase that little white ball around.
