Yoga Day USA–Did You Join in the Fun?

Hey guys,
Just got back from Independent Studios in Bay Village, Ohio, where I took part in their day-long Yoga Day USA celebration!
The class was fun, but basic so it would fit a broad range of fitness levels and interests. Even more interesting to me was the communal spirit I felt when I walked in the door. There were lots of people who were new to yoga and very eager to learn. It was a motivating and inspirational experience. And judging by the turnout where I was, it seemed to be a pretty big success.

Celebrate the Spirit of Yoga Across the U.S. this Saturday

Saturday, January 24 is a big day for yoga. Yoga Alliance Registered Teachers (RYT) and Schools (RYS) will be offering free or nearly-free yoga workshops at hundreds of locations across the U.S.
Created by the Yoga Alliance, the purpose of the event is to provide yoga teachers and schools with the opportunity to meet the “unique” needs of their own individual communities, and to raise funds for local charities.
