12 Uses for Plastic Supermarket Shopping Bags

plasticbag.jpgNot sure of what to do with all of those plastic shopping bags you take home from the supermarket? Most supermarkets have a container out front for recycling. You can also use them to contain pet waste and line all your little trash bins. Personally, we prefer buying tote bags and reusing them, over creating more landfill.

Here are some other options for recycling plastic bags and keeping them from taking over your home:

  • Facebook
  • StumbleUpon
  • Digg
  • Mixx

    I choose paper over plastic!

  2. Becca says:

If you’ve got a baby and use disposable diapers, plastic bagsare great to use instead of a diaper genie.

You forgot the 13′th use: Strangle the idiot who invented them with one!

A fun use would be fuse a bunch of them into a giant one, write “BAN THESE BAGS”, then attach a weather balloon and kite string and deploy it near a large crowd. Send press release out first. Do not interfere with airshows or active airline flyways. You could get in big trouble with the FAA. (though that could add publicity)

  4. Ms Kristina says:

    Good idea,
But: why do we have to recycle stuff even we will die before the world, lives is difficult.
