Can you believe that this year’s Bloggy Giveaways are here again already? If you’ve participated last year, you probably remember that they run for one week, which means you can enter through October 31st.
This year’s prizes were donated by Beth from Diffraction. Her lovely pieces are created using photos she takes and then turns into jewelry. They are quite nice and I’m rather jealous of the winners! (I’d like to let you choose your prize, but since you both might like the same one, I’m going to just randomly pick the peacock earrings winner first and then the ivy earrings winner.)
If you fall in love with a piece and you aren’t one of the lucky winners, you’ll be happy to know that this is one jeweler who has a thrifty heart. Almost all the pieces I saw in the Etsy shop were under $25. It helps that Diffraction is currently offering free shipping, too.
To enter, as always, just leave a comment. It would be great if the comment was related to your thrifty accessorizing tips, but you can just say, “I want to enter!” too.

My bf and I found a cheap piece of board with a cool screenprint on it and put some hooks on it and I use it for my necklaces…it looks awesome but cost less than $5!
I love too many of the pieces to list, but I smiled when I saw the Peacock bracelet because my daughter is deathly afraid of peacocks- she’s almost 16! Anyway, my frugal accessorizing idea is to use old scarves and make necklaces out of them
very nice they would make great Christmas gifts if you could bare to part with them!

Thrifty for me- having 4 daughters and we all share so in effect we have 5x as many accessories as we would alone.

Beautiful prizes! My thrifty accessory tip – shop at tag sales and charity sales. There are a lot of older folks who donate items for these events and they wore a lot of great costume pieces that you can take apart and redesign.
