Play dough recipe for thrifty play time.

I dread the stage in my 16 month old’s life when she finds play dough. I just imagine play dough everywhere. Not to mention the cost of replacing the play dough. Well, true to thrifty form, and thanks to Weary Parent, there is a Kool recipe for play dough. No pun intended.

i could tell from the moment the twins (just turned 3 this month) got up this morning that it was going to be one of those whiney, argumentive days. too tired (recuping from a cold) to fight it, i gave them each a couple of paper plates to decorate while i whipped up a huge batch of pink play dough. they’ve been playing sweetly all morning. i love play dough!!!!!!

one more thing…this recipe is not only super easy to make but it cleans up so much better than store bought. it seems to dry shortly after hitting the floor and can easily be swept or vacuumed up. it washes off the hands easily also.
