What an awesome post! I gave you a much deserved stumble.
You can also learn Welsh, Irish, Manx, and Scots Gaelic, if you’re into Celtic languages. The Welsh page (best in my opinion) can be found here:

Seems kind of lame to mention learning Mandarin online without citing the people who originally pioneered the business model that everyone else is coying (ie: providing a usable FREE tier and supplementing it with premium services). The original is still the best. Give a plug to the innovative gang at ChinesePod.com
Belly Dancing IS a great work out. I lost 10 pounds when I did it last year – it’s a lot of fun, too. And very expensive, which is why I quit.
.
Nice list, thanks. As a new year’s resolution to get out of my rut, I’m going to try it all! Thanks.
What a cool list! I want to try 16 and 19, Learn to Chant and Play Bridge, maybe at the same time
how can belly dancing be expensive?
skirt, top, little bells … lessons expensive?
What a great article. By the way, I always wanted to find a site where i can learn how to play basketball. The technique, the rules, and so on… If you find a good one, please write about it.
I took the class at a dance studio and we had to buy the skirts and the belts and then, the thing to hold and wave (I can’t remember what it’s called right now) to aid with the dresses. It’s the accessories that make it expensive, not so much the dancing itself.
Thanks for all of the things to learn – it inspires me to pick up new hobbies.
If you want to learn something new academically, you can get free course materials at MIT’s site.
