Remember the yummy recipe for Oriental Ramen Noodle Salad? Well, I made it again Wednesday for another church dinner. I was glad that there was a little left over for me to take home for lunch.
I was pleased today to find that Deborah from b5’s Simply Thrifty has compiled a list of 50 Things to Do with Ramen Noodles. Needless to say, I didn’t know people were using them for a spa treatment. Great list, Deborah.

When I was 20 years old, I moved out of my parents house and into an overpriced hovel in New York City to begin a new life. While I worked in a big, cushy publishing office, my paycheck was anything but. As a result I subsisted on a steady diet of Ramen Noodles and mixed veggies. You may think a diet of nothing but Ramen for three years might get a little boring, but you’d be surprised how creative one can get. Loyal Readers, I give you:

I honestly don’t believe you. You are way too fun. I doubt before this I could think of three ways to make Ramen. It’s not that good for you is the downside but the upside is my son would eat it every night if I let him — it’s great quick kid food.
BTW Was your sidebar always black? This is weird. Wasn’t it green?
Jennifer, there are hundreds of ways to make Ramen. If I didn’t stop after an hour, this list would still be going!
Oh and it IS black…isn’t it? Hmm….I hope it’s not an omen.
Yummy! One of the things I miss about living in L.A. was all the ramen restaurants.
I have a longstanding aversion to Ramen, probably from overdoing it during my college dorm room days. This list actually makes me want to pick up a pack of Ramen noodles during my next trip to the grocery store.
Thanks for putting this together. Dugg and Reddited!
Great list. Thanks for the links. Here’s a recipe I posted a few months back. I made it again this week and it is yummy!

drain all water out after completely cooking for 5 -7 mins
take one package ground turkey and brown on lightly coated pan. keep cooking till meat is brown
add ginger garlic paste curry powder chilli powder

serve immediately for 2 people.
ginger garlic paste, soy sauce, stir fry sauce and sriracha sauce are available in ethnic section of supermarket.
optional : add a fried egg on top of each plate served.
what recipe is that picture? the ramen with brown soup, asparagus, corn and mushrooms?
Another way to make ramen noodles is Slam.
My dad taught me this and honestley he learned it from jail.
All you need is ramen noodles, shreeded cheese (mild or mexican blend), salsa, and chips (barbecue or whatever you like).
Make the Ramen noodles, drain water, you can add the flavor pack but i usally dont.
In a bowl, crush up chips and put it in the bottom of the bowl, add shredded cheese, then the ramen noodles, and last the salsa.
I love this. its so good.
Enjoy
