Those are amazing products. Honey is indeed good for eczema and other diseases and illnesses as well. I would go with all-natural/organic honey, though.

Eczema is considered to be hereditary. Studies reveal that a person is prone to eczema if his family has a history of closely linked conditions like hay fever and asthma.
Putting honey on infected eczema helps to clear the infection within hours without using steroid creams that are prescribed by a doctor. Honey is a genital antiseptic and although it is sticky for a few hours meaning that you have to bandage the affected area it is well worth it. It isn't painful either.

Wow! I'm not too far from this from and must check it out. Thanks for the info. My entire family suffers from eczema so I definitely want to try out the lotion bar. My 8-month-old has it pretty bad on her legs and would love to get it cleared up now that the weather is finally get warmer and we'll all be in shorts soon. Looking forward to your Western NC list - we're over that way often. Love your site! Thanks for all the good advice.

Tami, Eczema does come and go. It seems to have a mind of its own. And the tanning bed does help it. I've never been to a tanning bed, but when my eczema flares up bad enough, I give thoughts of going. I highly recommend the lotion bar. You may want to order a few of them. It's nice to have one beside your bed, one in the car or your purse, etc.

Here's some more tips for dealing with eczema:

I am very interested in the lotion bar if it helped your eczema. I have some kind of skin condition that comes and goes. I have been to several doctors and no one can tell me what it is. It is very frustrating because it is very itchy and looks horrible (on my legs and feet and hands and arms and belly). Sometimes in just one of these spots but sometimes all at one time. The best thing I have found is been the tanning bed but I live way in the mountains of SC and there is not a tanning bed close. And besides, tanning is not that great for you. So... I may have to buy one of those for myself and see if it works. This has been going on for years (about 10) and I am sick of it. Thanks for the info. Love your blog.

wow!!! NC has a lot to offer, i'm still learning about my state :-).

the healing propolis cream sounds very interesting. i like that it is all natural. my son tends to get fungal rashes when he is on antibiotics and gets diarhea (lovely, i know) and i think this would be a great alternative to the anti-fungal cream from the pharmacy.
