Another addition at b5 soon

Just wanted to let you know that Steve from Inside Fatherhood and his wife are due any minute now. I hope and pray that things go well and mommy and baby will be fine. I am in awe of her and Steve as they have decided to have all their babies (this one is baby #5) at home. I am already looking forward to my epidural again.
He talked about the whole home birth experience and I thought is was worth telling you about as my girlfriend had one of her kids at home and loved doing it there. They are more of a woman than I want to be as I liked my drugs. But then again, I have a heart condition and have to be monitored during labor. So I am not a good candidate for it.
None the less, Thrifty Mommy wants to wish Steve and his wife good luck and a speedy delivery.
Kelly thanks so much for the post and good luck. Things seem quiet still around here. I think we had a little scare there on Sunday
When is your official due date?
Official due date is Jan 31. She usually goes 2 weeks early. So we are approaching that time and my wife is getting those “feelings” again. ack!
You both just need to breathe. She will do all the work and you will be the hero for standing by her side.
Drugs for me too, especially with being induced! It is just too much pain too quickly.
I vote for the epidural as well! And I am definitely in awe of those who have no help with the pain whatsoever. Congratulations to Steve and his wife, and I hope everything goes well.
