Another consignment sale success story.

co-sleeper.jpgI believe that success stories are good for motivation.  We can read all we want about how to save money.  It’s a great reminder.  But sometimes, we need success stories to let us see that the battle is won in the every day successes.

In my home town, there is a great consignment sale that occurs twice a year.  I got some great deals this past weekend.  My girlfriend, however, ROCKED!  Here are her great deals to spur you on to greatness as well.

  • A Graco swing for $6
  • Glider and ottoman for $10
  • Co-sleeper/ pack-n-play for $45 (babydepot has if for $159.99)
  • Table guard for $3.25

Nice job, Brianne.  I love a great deal and am looking forward to next spring.

I used to go to these kind of consignment sales when I lived in the Greensboro area. Twice a year a church there would have a sale. I got my kids some really nice toys and clothes. Then the last day the stuff would be 1/2 price. I really racked up then! Consignors also got to get into the sale 30 minutes early. It was great and I miss it!

You can always come see me that weekend. Remind me and I will let you know.
