Are 2 for 1 Coupons Worth It?

So today I wanted to buy a Disney DVD for Turkey Butt.  I was pleased to see a $6 off coupon on the front.  So I go the DVD and took it to the cash register only to find that the coupon was a way to get more money from my wallet.  The coupon was only good if I bought 2 DVD’s.  There weren’t 2 DVD’s I was interested in.  So I bought the DVD with no coupon.  Let me tell you that just chapped my hide!  If you are going to give me a coupon, just give it to me.  Don’t make me buy a certain number of items to use the coupon.  Do you think this is a trick worth using or not?  What do you think?

Oh I hate these ones. Kind of like if you buy jelly you can get so much off but only if you buy english muffins. Sometimes I already have muffins and just need jelly.

They are worth it…but only if you actually need it. I see so many people buying things they don’t actually need, and wind up spending more money than if they had just skipped the second item in the first place.

I hate those types of coupons too… my local grocery store had a buy 1 get 1 free deal on hams at Easter… except they wanted $48 for ONE ham! Gimme a break!

I very rarely use those type of coupons. I don’t think they are worth it. You wind up spending more money than you would if you only buy the one product. I usually only use them if there is a great deal or a B1G1 free sale.
