B5 launches the new sports channel with a bang up contest!
We are proud to announce that b5 has launched the newly improved sports channel. I love to watch tennis so I figure one of my new fave blogs will be Rackets and Balls from Erica Beck. There is just something about watching the Williams sisters play that makes me smile.

There are two fun ways to win. You can enter our sports trivia contest, or you can write on your own blog about one (or more) of the b5 sports blogs.
You must enter the contest before Friday, October 12, 2007 at 12:00 noon ET.
Step One:
1) Read the latest entries on our sports blogs. Within the blog posts in the last few days, you will find the answers to these five questions.
- Who did Brett Favre pass to become the NFL’s all-time leader in touchdown passes?
- Which player was drafted with the first pick of the 2007 NBA draft but will miss the season with a knee injury?
- Which team handed the Florida Gators their first loss of the 2007 college football season?
- Which two MLB teams played a 163rd game for a spot in the playoffs?
- Which Canadian golfer defeated Tiger Woods during the Presidents Cup?
Once you read the blogs and find the answers, email your answers ALONG WITH THE LINK TO THE BLOG POST WHERE YOU FOUND EACH ANSWER to kori.ellis@b5media.com with the subject line: SPORTS TRIVIA ENTRY.
You must get all the answers correct AND each answer must have a link in order to be eligible for the prize drawing. You will receive a confirmation of your email entry. If you don’t receive a confirmation email, please feel free to resend your submission.
OR
2) Blog about one (or more) of our new Sports blogs in YOUR OWN blog. You can offer a welcome, do a review or just write about the topic with tips, lists, etc.
Submit the permanent link to your blog entry through the comments section here or email it to kori.ellis@b5media.com with the subject line: SPORTS CONTEST ENTRY. You will receive a confirmation of your email entry. If you don’t receive a confirmation email, please feel free to resend your submission.
Step Two:
b5media will hold a raffle drawing of all eligible entries. Prize packages will be assigned randomly to those who get picked during the raffle. Winners will be announced here on the b5media blog and each winner will be notified accordingly.
Basic Rules/Guidelines:
1) Make sure you include the links to the b5media blogs with your trivia answers.
2) One blog is eligible for one entry only. If you have multiple blogs, you can enter each blog accordingly, but duplicate posts will not be permitted. You must create an original entry per blog.
3) Please make sure that you can be easily contacted via email. If you win and we can’t contact you within 7 days, you forfeit your prize.
4) Blog entries should be no less than 75 words. There’s no maximum length.
5) b5media bloggers and Channel Editors are not eligible to enter this contest. We have our own internal contest! 
6) Adult content and illegal blogs will not be eligible to enter either.
7) Winning entries are final and winners should claim their prizes by confirming their mailing address within 7 days. If there are unclaimed prizes, we will draw more names from the eligible entries list until we give all of them away.
8 ) b5media reserves the right to make reasonable amendments to contest proceedings and outcome.
9) The deadline for all entries is Friday, October 12, 2007 at 12:00 noon ET.
10) All winners will be announced on or before the Monday, October 15, 2007.
