Baby “Grace” is now little Riley Ann Sawyers
Our hearts and prayers go out to the family of Riley Ann Sawyers. She has been identified as the Baby “Grace” found in Galveston on October 29th. I have been listening to the news conference and the police have identified her mom and the boyfriend as suspects. Her mom is only 19. I can’t imagine any harm coming to Turkey Butt. I just keep crying thinking about it. Little Riley Ann is adorable and I can’t imagine having to say goodbye to my daughter. Evidently her mom met the man involved on the internet and moved to Texas from Ohio. The whole case is sad.
The thought of losing The Boy is enough to turn me in to a mess.
I agree. I jsut can’t imagine the pain. The police officer in the news conference said that they are actively also looking for the other 22 little girls that match “baby Grace”’s description but that are still missing.
As a father of five daughters, one of them two years old, all I could do after reading the confession is hold my two year old and cry. What a mess my life would be if one of my daughters were missing or beaten to death by someone that they are supposed to be able to trust. I have lost some sleep thinking about what Riley’s beatings were like and how her unconditional love still drew her to her so called mother and step father. Worst of all, what kind of regret is the Ohio father feeling due to the breakup that drove his wife to leave and take his child to Texas.
I cannot find any justification, I am sleepless and angry, and hurt, and imagine over and over again what little helpless Riley went through. What kind of a crazy sadistic animal would it take in Royce Clyde Zeigler II and Riley’s so called “mom” Kimberly Dawn Trenor. They don’t just deserve CAPITAL PUNISHMENT, they deserve MORE, they deserve to be put on TV worldwide and apologize to the whole world for what they have done and tell EVERY parent how precious a young one’s life is, far more than manners or any form of discipline. Thereafter they should be dealt with as appropriated by the grandma of Riley, Sheryl Sawyers who’s pain I just WISH there was anyway can be “shared”. But we all will live in guilt, for as long as WE are alive that none of us was there to protect that 2 year old lovingly playful little girl while her head was banged against tiles her toys would have been scattered, while she was drowned in her bathtub she would have played in, while she was beaten with belts that her parents necks should have been tied in and hung instead… I just wish there was anyway in this world she could come back and not pay the price of the DEVILS and DEMONS she lived with…
I can’ t imagine what she went through but it does make me very aware of my own blessign in my kids. This is a call for all to be vigilant with our kids.
I HAVE A TWO YEAR OLD, AND ALL I COULD THINK, HELPLESS BABIES. HER MOM DID THIS, HER STEP DAD DID THIS. THEY BOTH NEED DONE TO THEM, OF WHAT HAPPEN TO BEAUTIFUL GIRL. I AM VERY ANGRY.. SO MANY COUPLES CANT HAVE CHILDREN, AND WOULD OF LOVED RILEY. WHEN THEY GO TO JAIL, THEY BOTH NEED TO GO TO THE WORSE PART, AND GET TOURURED, LIKE RILEY DID. HOPEFULLY HER SOUL WILL COME BACK AND HAUNT THEM, AND MAYBE WITH THE BELTS SHE WAS BEATEN WITH, THEY HAND THERE SELF. THEY BOTH ARE GOING TO HELL
