Food Lion is having a great sale this week. I stopped by twice today to pick up some of their bargains. Many are worth stockpiling, which will help save you money later.
3 day sale (Friday, Saturday, Sunday):
- 12 inch Food Lion self rising or thin crust pizza 5/$10, limit 5

- General Mills cereals buy 1 get 1 free, limit 2 free (use $.75 coupon off 3)
- Betty Crocker fruit snakcs buy 1 get 1 free
- Green Giant vegetables buy 1 get 1 free, limit 6 free
- Hamburger Helper buy 1 get 1 free, limit 2 free (use $.75 coupon off 3)
- select Kellogg’s cereals buy 1 get 1 free (use $1/2 blinkie coupon), final price $2.29 for 2 boxes

I was going to ask what the heck is Food Lion, but then I looked it up. I’m sure this is helpful to some people, but it would be better if you found deals from actual national chains, instead of those for just a small portion of the country.
Those of us in the area of the country where these “small chains” sure appreciate having the deals posted!
