Cheap Summer treats

I love summer time.  I also love swimming at the pool and hanging out with friends.  But the summertime memory I love to recreate with my kids is the hot days cooing down with cool treats.  I especially love freezing red seedless grapes and pitted fresh cherries.  You can take them anywhere and they are nice and cold when you get there.  Nothing better than cooling down at the pool with a cool treat.  What are your favorite fruits to freeze and enjoy on a hot day?

  1. My favorite treat on a warm day are strawberries. Lots of them.

I’m with you on the grapes. I love a bowl of them for snacking while I’m watching tv. Yum.

  3. I love the frozen grapes too! I hear frozen banana slices are also delicious, I will be trying those this week. I have been making popsicles for my (furiously teething) daughter by freezing straight sugar free applesauce and she loves it!

    Anyone for frozenchocolate covered bananas?
