I heard about CheapTweet a while back but finally got a chance to check it out. CheapTweet scans Twitter for any CheapTweet worthy deals, coupons, or sales.Note that CheapTweets is not associated with Twitter BTW, they’re just using this as a good way to maximize folks who see and can use savings and deals.
It’s not all up to the folks behind the scene at CheapTweet either. Users can rate tweets as “It’s Cheap” (it’s a good deal) or “It’s Lame” (it’s not a good deal). Deals can move ahead to a section called the Cheapest Tweets section if they get enough user votes.
If you want your own deals included on CheapTweet you need to one, not spam, two write decent tweets with a good link, and also it helps (according to the site) to retweet and include specific details about the deal you’re tweeting. Rad more about the guidelines for those with deals to tweet.
You don’t have to be part of Twitter to use CheapTweets, you can check out all the deals at the CheapTweet website or browse by category, although, if you’re already on Twitter you can follow CheapTweets at Twitter.
Have you ever used CheapTweets? If so tell me what you think in the comments.
