Thrifty Mommy

Cinderella

Part of being thrifty is knowing how to spend my time and money wisely. The whole tragedy with Steven Curtis Chapman has broken my heart. I can’t imagine what that family is going through. My DH and I have talked about how we would react to such a tragedy. I can’t imagine the scenario, even if it were a stranger that ran over my daughter. An accident is an accident and we need to try to focus on that. I don’t know who I feel worse for, the family or the son specifically. I ran over to Tara’s blog and found this video and cried all over again. “Forgiveness” is the only word I can come up with.

Let’s all slow down in the rat race of time and give our kids hugs. I am so thankful that my DH does a good job of that. We never give our kids enough time but we do our best. We love you Turkey Butt and Little Man.

I love his songs because they show his love and passion for his family and wife.
