Clothing “Frugalistas” Dawn from Frugal for Life has the right idea. Look out TLC’s What Not to Wear.

I love to shop.  Just don’t look in my closet because I need to do a little of it to accompany my post baby body.  HAHA!  My favorite frugal store is the Goodwill.  My favorite splurge store is BMoss.  Frugal for life has a great top 10 list for the frugalista on shopping for clothes.  I just love that site.  I always check myself against frugal and thrifty lists just to see how I measure up.  I am really good at the shopping sales and buying second hand.  I would love to swap with friends but I really don’t have a lot of friends my size.  Most are taller (I am 5 foot 1.2 in) and skinnier (I am down to a size 10-12 and proud of it).  That’s ok.  The idea I am going to work on is buying more classics.  Look out Clinton and Stacy of What Not to Wear (one of my fav shows), here comes Dawn!

Ah gee, thanks. You are so kind.
My classics are jeans, tshirts/sweatshirts and a hat.

Well, in that case, I have a lot of classics myself. My problem, and it’s a good one, is that I need a belt to keep them up. I hate low rise!

Goodwill, consignment, & garage sales provide our wardrobe. Am I wearing Ralph Lauren? But, of course! Did I pay a quarter for it? The answer is YES!

We can look like the rich, can’t we?

I say the same thing. I usually get all my silks and name brand stuff there. I have always wanted to challenge the What Not to Wear crew to do their show in a normal city.
