Consignment Sale success

I did really good last weekend. I got 3 leotards, 1 pair of pajama pants, 3 pairs of pants for Turkey Butt, 1 dress, 2 shirts for Turkey Butt, and 2 pairs of jogging pants for Little Man fo ronly $14. I was very happy. The consignment sale makes me feel successful. I can’t wait to let you see them. Pictures to come. They are being washed at the moment. I splurged and got a JLo dress for Turkey Butt for $5 and she looks adorable in it! Just thought I would share the spoils.

A mom’s gotta love a great bargain – especially on great clothes. My MIL works at a thrift shop her church runs and she’s always finding great stuff for my kids – new with tags – priced anywhere from a buck to a quarter! Love that!!!

I can’t wait until my baby needs more clothes so I can go to the consignment shop to buy some more. I know if I go now, I’ll buy a ton of stuff (even though its cheap) that I don’t need.
Oh man. I have to limit my consignment shopping….I tend to find so many good deals that I end up spending more than I would at a normal store (mind you, I get more for that money).
I’m still waiting for the consignment shops around here to start clearancing some of their summer stock.
I went to a favorite consignment shop that I hadn’t been to in awhile, only to discover that it was under new ownership and wasn’t NEARLY as good as it used to be. I guess I’ll have to scratch that one off of my list.

I love cheap clothing! I think I prefer used clothing to new because not only is it cheaper, but it’s already been washed a few times so I don’t have to worry as much about colors bleeding or the item shrinking so much it doesn’t fit.
