Congratulations! We’re pleased to inform you that your outstanding credit management has earned you a credit line increase on your Discover Card.
Your new Discover Card credit limit is $14,200.00.
Your increased buying power makes Discover Card the best choice for all your purchases.
They even enclosed another three checks. Oh geez. How lucky am I? :p

I got the same letter yesterday!
I really wish they wouldnt increase without permission.
They must really be pushing people to spend. I think I’ve received about 9 blank checks in the last 2 months.
Why do they think this statement is true?
I mean, it’s a great thing to tell your friends, “Hey, they want to give me more of their money,” but why wouldn’t it be just as logical for you to say that your increased buying power means that you should stay away from Discover Card?
I mean, just because they gave you the option to use more of their money doesn’t imply that you should use it.
There’s a logical fallacy in here somewhere.
Their logic is that I is that I am a low-risk customer with an awesome credit rating and they want me to rack up the debt. Sorry, not gonna do it!
Oh, speaking of those checks– they’re just asking for fraud there. I mean, how many people actually use them?
I bet you could find some in the garbage at some people’s house. I rip mine up into itty bitty pieces.
Yes, I shred mine too. I also shred all those credit card apps I get in the mail.
Oh my goodness. I just saw the typos of my last comment. Geez! Moving is really getting to me. lol
