Within the past year, my husband and I have become debt free!!!! I can’t begin to tell you how freeing it is to only have a house payment. We all know that debt ties us down, but we don’t realize how bad it really is until we’re out of it’s bondage.
With our income and me staying at home, many times it seemed impossible to get out of debt. I’m here to tell you that it can be done and I’d like to help you get started.
I am giving away a Debt Terminator Kit. The value of this prize is $99.95. The kit includes information on:
- getting organized
- cash flow
- automobile and mortgage payoff
- smart shopping
- how to control credit card spending
- what credit card companies tell you
- how to avoid credit card fraud
- your first thirty days
- the transfer of wealth
- the consequences of ignoring bills
- how to deal with collection agencies
- credit restoration
- the best way to keep tax records
- and much, much more!
To enter this giveaway, all you have to do is leave a comment below telling why you’d like to win the Debt Terminator.
If you’d like two entries for this prize, you can write an article about this giveaway and/or Thrifty Mommy on your blog, leaving a link to Thrifty Mommy. If you decide to use this route, please leave a separate comment below with the link to your article.

We actually became debt free yesterday!!! Now we just have to buy a house and start all over. I would love to win this for a young couple that just got married and already owe over $5000 in credit cards along with student loans and car payments.
This would be so awesome to win! To have the opportunity to not be constantly stressed over money and to be able to enjoy my life would be pure bliss!
I would really be able to use this because my debts are creeping up on me again and the idea of terminating them makes me want to laugh out loud.;-)
What an awesome giveaway. I am trying to become debt free and any help or advice is wonderful, please sign me up.
I would like to win this to help with organization and bill paying tips. Thanks for the opportunity.
Well, let’s see. With baby #1, I started working part-time from home rather than from the office, which cut our take-home pay substantially. Just before Baby #1 came, one of our cars died. We went from one car payment to two, but then paid one off.
Now I’m preggers with baby #2. And was in an accident yesterday which will likely have our paid-off car totalled (everyone’s fine including baby-to-be).
Meaning in all likelihood another car payment (although, believe me, it’ll be as small as we can possibly make it).
But we’re also in a small 2-br condo, meaning that we really would like more space…but we can’t sell our current place without a small loss, despite all the work we’ve put into it, so we’re trying to save up for a down payment…while paying a mortgage, student loans (thankfully small ones), and the aforementioned car payment. We are happily paying off all credit cards every month (or within their zero-interest payment schedule), but we don’t see a way to get ahead right now and we’d really like to, preferably before the new baby comes along.
Which, btw is coincident with Christmas.
Ok…I think I need to go hide under a rock now.
We are following dave ramsey steps to becoming debt free. We recently just paid off over 10000 dollars in debt but we still have some more. i would be grateful to win this!
I would love this because I can’t seem to get my stuff together when it comes to my bills. I think would give me great guidence. Thanks!
I’d like it because money stresses us out. We normally end up in the black, but we are having a hard time learning how to balance everything so we KNOW that and can relax.
With today’s economy…we could use some help to reduce our debt.
Two words: school loans!
Please enter me. My husband and I are halfway through our debt consolidation program. I want to make sure the same thing doesn’t happen again. I like the feeling of not racking up more debt. But, a little help in that area is always good to have. Thanks.

We aren’t nearly as prepared for retirement as we should be. If you were able to be debt free in a year, we should be able to accomplish it too.( I love a challenge!) Thanks for the opportunity.
I recently and unexpectedly became a single mother to 4 very active children. We are suddenly trying to survive on 1/3 the income we had before while I’m still stuck trying to pay off the debt we had accumulated over the last 14 years. This would be a dream come true win for us! Good luck to all and thank you for offering this up.
I only have my HECS (our kind of student loan!) but i would love to learn more while getting rid of that debt. Eventually we would like to have a morgage too!
If this is open to international entries count me in!
Thanks,
Jenna
I want to be debt free so bad! We have gotten down to one credit card and only pay for things with cash, but we could use some extra help!!
Well I am sure that just about everyone needs a copy of this debt terminator, but I would definitely like a copy of my own. My husband and I just bought our first home, like just this week. And it has turned out to be a money pit, just like the movie. So I think now would be a good time to try to relieve ourselves of some debt since it looks like we are going to need all of our money to fix this dang house.

Thanks for such a useful giveaway.
My husband loses his job at the end of August so we need to change our life around soon.
Geez, wish I’d seen this before I went for a debt consolidation loan tonight… I get laid off every year for a few months, and would like to be able to relax and not have to worry about bills. With the high fuel and oil costs, we need to start thinking about alternative energy options as well. We need to start saving now, and planning for the future, because I don’t know what it will bring and living paycheck to paycheck is scary stuff. Thanks for the giveaway, a very useful source of information!
I want to work on eliminating our debt but keep everything on a million little pieces of paper. I’d love a program like this that will help us get organized. Thanks!
I would love to pay off all of our debt, so we can live more comfortably while I am at home with our three children. Thanks for a great giveaway.
In todays economy, this is probably something everyone needs but…I truly hope I win!!
I have a few giveaways going too, come on over and enter!
I would like this to help with me smart shopping and to learn how to do a budget.
We don’t have debt in the regular sense, but do have a business loan we need to pay off. This would help us to learn to deal with it with the money we have. I would really love to win this.
Debt is something we have been working diligently on for a while! What a great tool it would be to have something to guide us.
Thanks.
Stacy
This would be great, we are trying really hard to be out of debt! Thanks so much for the giveaway!
I owuld love to share this with my parents. They live hand to mouth, one step away from disaster.
I liked to win this so that we can get our current debt paid off so we can get into a house (we live in a mobile home right now) and add to our family.
I would really like to have this. I need a plan so I can get on with my life and stop worrying about debt. Thanks so much for the giveaway.
I’m sure I don’t have a shot at this…with my luck
I would be such a blessing for us to win something like this. My husband and I have been through so much in the last year (the first year of our marriage) and have found ourself deeply in debt due to poor decisions as well as the need to move to a new state due to family problems in both our families. Through job loss and job changes we have lost a good chunk of our income and are currently having to decide how much of our utility bills we can afford to pay in order to pay our credit card bills (can’t afford the late fees). Our credit has pretty much been ruined and we have a lot of school loan debt that is going to start coming due soon. This would be such a blessing, as I said earlier.
My husband and I have been battling the debt monster for a long time. I would love to find the one final solution to end the war for us.
Thanks for the giveaway!
this would be great for me to learn how to budget and get rid of credit card debt.
My husband and I could really use this – boy you have great give-aways!! Anyways the big reason I’d love for us to have this is to get more organized!! (and that’s first on the list!! lol)
My DH is disabled and I am not far behind altho I do some part-time work – I’d love to know how to keep a better budget and what files to keep and what to toss. I’d love to learn how to start to get some of our debt down. We live very simply & don’t have too much but with a son in college and a grandchild on the way & with our health issues… it’s a challenge. Thanks again for the chance!!
What a great prize…It is so hard these days to manage the rising prices!
It is terrifying to have debt. I have several school loans on top of the credit card debt that I accumulated when I was young and stupid. I know I will be teaching my kids to avoid using cards at all cost. It is so frustrating when you just can’t seem to make any progress.
