Thrifty Mommy

Don’t be afraid to ask

I was at my local children’s resale shop yesterday and asked if she was going to have a end of season sale.  She smiled and said that if I found anything summery, she would give me 25% off.  So I will be back after I get paid and will look for summer for Turkey Butt for next year.  25% off already low prices will work for my budget for next year and she has really cute stuff.  Just don’t be afraid to ask for a discount.  The resale shops want to sell their summer stuff before it just sets there and takes up space.  Offer a deal and you might be surprised.  I know your wallet will be.

Great Tip – I laughed out loud and my coworkers now think I am crazy. My little brother’s nickname is chicken butt. He is now ten years old and doesn’t care for it so much any more, especially around his friends, we shortened it to chicken, but he doesn’t like that anymore either. He insists his nickname is now either Ty, or T.J. (short for Tyler Jacob). They grow so fast!
