A reusable coffee filter - why buy all those paper filters. Bonus points for being a green and thrifty move.
A white board or chalk board: These save you money because they help you plan. It’s a nightmare to plan grocery lists on the fly and you’ll end up spending more if you rush through it. A board allows you to jot down what you need and you can build a list from it.
A spatula – Cheap and easy way to use up all the food – the sauce, the peanut butter, the cake batter.
Ice pop molds – A great deal for oh so many reasons.
Old rags: For cleaning up spills, for scrubbing dishes, for shining the sink. Paper towels cost a lot over time. Even if you cut just half your paper towel use, you’ll save money. Also, you can use any old rag – make one from a shirt or old washcloth – it’s like free money.

Our coffee maker won’t work with the reusable filters! Grr!
I like Silpat mats – the silicon nonstick oven-safe slippery things that you can use instead of greasing a pan or using foil or waxed or parchment paper. Mine are 10+ years old and still ticking.
