Free Amazon gift card with Coinstar

OK, you have heard me gripe about paying coinstar to count my money.  Turns out, they have a great deal going right now.  When you bring at least $30 worth of coins to a coinstar machine, you get a $10 gift card for Amazon.com.  There seems to be conflicting reports as to what you have to do with the $30 you have counted.  About says you have to buy an Amazon gift card with the $30 but then you spend $30 and get a total of $40 in gift cards.  Coinstar says you just have to have your coins counted.  Still sounds justified for your time to me.

I would miss rolling the coins myself for nostalgia but it is still a good deal.

Thankfully, our credit union has a coin counter. You just put your money in and it prints out a receipt to take to the teller.
