Free Crockpot Recipes

You know what I’m really digging right now? Hunting for free crockpot recipes. My husband bought the crockpot a couple of months ago because I have more time to prepare meals in the morning when my son is in school, than in the evening when we’re trying to juggle activities and homework. I put all the ingredients into the crockpot in the morning and by dinner time we have some delicious bubbly goodness.
Now that I have my crockpot, I don’t want to bore my family with the same old thing for every meal. I started looking for a crockpot cookbook, but then I thought, why do that when there are plenty of free crockpot recipes online?
Here are a few of my favorite places to find free crockpot recipes:
- About.com Southern Food
- CookingCache.com
- Baking Delights
- Keeping the Castle
- All Recipes
- A Crock Cook
- Family Crockpot Recipes
- Moms Who Think
- Crockpot-Recipe.com
- cdkitchen
- Easy Crockpot Recipes
That should be enough to get you started, and you know what? There are plenty more sites offering crockpot recipes and ideas.
If this isn’t enough for you, visit you local library where there are cookbooks galore, many featuring crockpot recipes.
What are your favorite free recipe resources?

Thanks! I was just telling my husband that we need to use our crockpot more! Now we have no excuse : )
How about us, your loyal readers?
Let me begin: add in layers to bottom of crockpot:
black beans
corn
frozen chicken (I use boneless breast fillets)
rotel
cook. The larger the chicken pieces, the longer it needs to cook. I usually do 4-5 hours for fillets.
Adjust hotness by brand of rotel.
I have some crockpot recipes in my site and they are free! On an unrelated note, do I smell some keyword sniping in this article?
Thanks for the mention of Moms Who Think! Please keep us mind for other content for Moms.
