I was just telling my friend that we are on a newfound budget (time & money) and did mention this. I am from NC, live in CA and asked my mom for verification that this is still a great way to brush your teeth. I remember, too, we used to add peroxide (which I don't recommend)...but we bought our box of baking soda at the 99 cent store-2 for $1! Works better for my budget! Yes!
