Frugal challenge Saturdays are coming. I will try to shoot you a challenge every Saturday. So come back and bust me if it isn’t up. You know my sporadic posting.
Frugal Challenge Saturday:
Try to make a meal for your family for under $10. I have already given you a good hint with my Taco Salad Recipe.
Let me know what you come up with. Everyone wants to share. Shoot me a link if you find a recipe that make the challenge and I will round them all up.

Thanks for the taco salad recipe. We had it last night (edit slightly) and it’s awesome!
Great idea, Kelly! My homemade pizza costs less than $10 for 2 pizzas.
Just about every meal costs under $10. That comes from getting the meats on sale. Every now and then I’ll make something that takes a lot of ingredients, but for the most part our family can have a nice meal for $5-6.
This week one meal I made was grilled chicken (on sale 50% off), Uncle Ben’s rice (on sale for $1.09 and I had a coupon), and squash (on sale) and onions. The cost of that meal was about $5 and I had squash left over for the next day.
Here’s mine!
