Frugal Friday #12: Freecycle

Have you tried Freecycle? I told my friend about it a while back and here’s what she had to say . . .
We have been doing some major freecycling. Last weekend we picked up 2 baby swings and two rockers and a whole load of clothes. I spent about two hours washing and cleaning and ironing. So this past weekend we went again, I got a toddler bed and a bassinette, and LOTS more clothes. I have enough clothes for the baby for his 1st year of life!! All from Freecycle, I have been calling it FREEBAY! Anyway, thanks for the Freecycle tip. We have just about everything we need for the baby thanks to that.
My friend Revka said that she got two carseats in excellent condition and an Electrolux carpet shampooer from Freecycle. Her sister got an antique dining room table and chairs and china cabinet.

Love freecycle too. We’re moving in a week, so I’ve been freecycling away a ton of stuff.
I told someone about freecycle today and they were amazed that people give stuff away for free. lol
