I love the idea of using a timer.

It’s also a great way to motivate the kids and get them involved.

Must be something about a contest or competition that gets them going.

Unfortunately, I tend to find a place for the important things and then move everything else to the basement. This is, however, sorting a huge yard sale for me naturally. YEAH!

I completely agree about finding homes for things! I did that to my old house while getting ready to move, and it made my life so much easier. Now I’m trying to find homes for things in the new house.
