Frugal shopping tips for people who struggle with Celiac Disease

Celiac disease is a disease where your body is allergic to glutens.  That seems, simply, that you can’t eat any foods that contain wheat, rye and barley, or any of their derivatives.  I would have a really hard time living this way since a staple in my diet is macaroni and cheese.  I would also think that it would be very difficult to shop for food when you struggle with this disease.  I found a great article that gives frugal tips on how to shop for groceries.  Take a look.

A good percentage of autistic kids are intolerant to gluten–their bodies are simply unable to break down the proteins. My son is gluten-intolerant (and also has celiac disease). A great site is GFCF Diet.
