We all have our spending battles, and I agree that if you are TOO strict on yourself, your desire to spend money is going to be stronger. It's similar to a diet. I NEVER go on a diet because when I think that word, all I want to do is eat!!!! Instead, I just eat less and don't say I'm on a diet. Mind games :) DH loves electronics but is good about waiting for price reductions, etc. I really appreciate that!
