Gasoline rip offs are closer to home than you think.

Ok, so I have a pet peeve. I live 1 mile from the interstate one way and town is on the other side of the interstate. When I leave my house, there are 2 gas stations at the interstate. If I go just one mile up the road and get into town, there are maybe 3-4 gas stations. Here is where I have a problem with gas stations. The ones at the interstate this afternoon had gas for $2.59/g for the cheap stuff. The gas stations in town, just 1 mile down the road, had gas for $2.49/g. The ones by the interstate consistently run $.10/g higher just because no one passing through sees that there are other gas stations just around the corner. That frustrates the willies out of me. So the moral of the story is to go just a few more seconds down the road if you are traveling and you might save a bunch of money without having to switch to Geico. LOL!
