carnival_button_2.jpgI am back from bereavement and am blown away by all that Karen has gotten up this week. What a great time we at b5 are having with our bloggy giveaways! You guys are fantastic. I got home just in time to slip in the last one. Thanks, Karen for saving me the fun one! <wink>

So now we are giving away a great little tool to teach your kids how to save and manage their own money. It’s never too early to start teaching our kids to save. They already know how to use a credit card and spend money before they turn 2 it seems. It is our jobs as parent to teach them how to save it. So Tessy and Tab have put together a great kit to teach your kids how to save money. Retail value $24.95

The preschool money management kit contains:

  • Award winning 3-part bank from Moonjar
  • 2 Tessy and Tab reading club magazines focused on financial literacy
  • Chores Chart and Allowance Guide for preschoolers
  • Parents guide for building financial literacy skills using a 7-step program of preschool appropriate activities.

I am with Karen in that I wish I were eligible for this. Maybe I will have to hint to the grandparents for a great Christmas present this year. It is never too early to get started teaching our kids, not only by example, but by hands on learning.

All you have to do to enter the contest is to leave a comment here on this post and tell us why you want the preschool money management kit from Tessy and Tab by Friday, April 25th. Make sure you leave your valid email address (we won’t publish it) so that we can contact you when you win. You stand just as good a chance as anybody else does so get in there and get your comment in early.

See you soon.

My daughter’s only 2 1/2 but I want to teach her about money early and I think she’d be ready for this in a few more months. She’s already kind of able to grasp the concept that if I let her get a small candy at the checkout everytime we go to the store, that means less larger items on a whim.

  3. Kathy says:

I would love this for my four preschoolers! Thanks for the great giveaway!

My six year old son loves money (especially asking me to spend it!), but, since he has autism, visuals are the best way for him to really learn things. This looks like an awesome system!

I’d love to go ahead and teach our children the concept of saving money….or even how money works….at a young age. This would be perfect! Thanks!

  13. Ilissa H. says:

I’d love this because I believe that children are never too young to learn. This would hopefully set them up for a lifetime of financial knowledge and stability. I wish they had something like this that I could have learned from as a child. Thank you for the chance.
