The Couponizer is an amazing organizational system for anyone who collects coupons. If you spend your shopping mornings going through your big old coupon envelope or sorting through your purse at the checkout line, you’ll want this handy tool.
The Couponizer is a small blinder filled with pockets all of your coupons. Each pocket is marked according to need. There are pockets for baking and staples, breakfast items, canned good – anything you need. Plus there are pockets for restaurants, the coupons that are about to expire, the coupons you’re about to use, even a pocket for receipts.
The Couponizer also comes with scissors, a carrying case, a coupon sorting mat, a shopping list pad and savings tracker.
One of the reasons many people don’t clip coupons is because it’s too much of a hassle, The Couponizer makes it less of a hassle. Once a week is all it takes to organize your coupons and then all you have to do is keep The Couponizer in your glove compartment and purse.
The Couponizer retails for $18.00 and is well worth the price.
Would you like to try the Couponizer? I’m going to give one away! To enter post a money saving tip in the comments. Work it people. One or two word answers don’t count – drop a paragraph telling us your best money saving tip. Add your opinion to other tips posted here. Great idea I would love this
Count me in…sounds great!
I have to admit, my coupons are a ss, so this would be great.
My money-saving tip is a simple one for anyone with a wood stove or fireplace. I make my own firestarters by stuffing toilet paper tubes with dryer lint. They work amazingly well, and we save mor emoney by using Biobricks in our stove instead of wood. They burn hotter than wood and you just need one homemade firestarter to light them–no kindling necessary. Plus, they are carbon-neutral, which will save more than money in the end. Happy Earth Day and thanks for the giveaway.
I could sure use this! I have a hard time keeping my coupons organized and this sounds like it would help solve my problem. My best tip is shopping the sales (especially buy one/get one free items) and using your coupons. I always do both, and have saved up to half on my grocery bill. The last time I shopped using my “technique” I got $120 worth of groceries for $60, and you sure can’t beat that.
Combine your coupons with the sales the grocery store has going.
Money saving tip: shop without the kids! I always spend more when they’re with me.
I shop many different stores. I cut coupons and then watch them go on sale on the store flyers(usually a week after). Double savings!
I love the coupon book. It would fit perfect in my purse and look at lot nicer than the envelopes I use.
I buy bulk meat and cut into meal size portions. The cost is much cheaper than buying smaller sizes and I have meals ready with the perfect size.
Never go to the grocery store hungry!!
I use my highest coupons under a dollar with the triple off coupons from local market, and others which are automatically doubled by the market…great savings!!! Especially on my cleaning supplies!
With prices going up this would be great!
Need to get organized so count me in.
Thanks. I definitley need this because I am the one that has the expired coupon when I finally see the item to buy. lol
I think the best tip I can offer is one everyone knows: Buy low. Stockpile.
Beyond that, get good at the pantry game! So what if you don’t have peas for that pea and basil salad? Make a broccoli and basil salad instead. So what if you don’t have chickpeas for your soup? Make it with pinto beans! Be brave and don’t be intimidated by your lack of ingredients.
My biggest money saving tip is always make a shopping list and stick to it. Impulse buying is what more money is “wasted” on.
My old coupon organizer is ripped and falling apart. I would love to win a new one!
Prety Please!!!
My money saving tip – do not let the husband go to the grocery store! I sent him with a list that should’ve been about $40 worth of food, and he came home with everything on the list, plus $40 worth of junk (chips, soda, ice cream). He thinks we “need” all that junk. Ugh!
Thanks for the giveaway – I could really use something like this!
My best advice is to buy the best, most natural food you can afford and then use it wisely. Buy a whole natural chicken and make a roasted chicken dinner. Then use the leftovers to add on top of tortellini alfredo or make chicken noodle soup (or both).
Use up leftovers, even small amounts. You’ll be amazed at how much less food you need to buy.
Also, look for managers specials (usually meat that has a same day expiration date) in the meat isle. Last week I got six packs of organic, boneless, skinless chicken thighs for under $2 a pack. When you see the managers specials grab them up, freeze them, and then plan next week’s dinner around them.
We all know food prices are rising. It’s time to start using what we buy very wisely.
My best money saving tip is to use both coupons and sale prices at the same time! Cut out ALL the coupons you might possible use. Even if it’s not your usual brand. For example, lotions, you always see coupons for different brands of lotions. Cut them all out. And then when you see a brand that you have a coupon for on sale, grab it, even if you don’t need it right then! Stock up!!!
make lists: weekly menus, shopping lists and use sale or coupon items to get the best value. never buy small packaged items(snacks etc)
I could really use this!
I’ve eliminated our need to purchase garbage bags by reusing the plastic grocery store bags we get every time we shop. I bought an inexpensive cabinet door apparatus that holds the bags open. Why buy bags when everyone is giving them away for free?
Make a grocery list and stick to it.
I stock up at the “buy one, get one free” sales.
use a list and stick to it as much as you can.
This looks so great!! I have to say the most practical way I’ve learned to save money is with the grocery budget – by making a menu, a shopping list, using coupons and taking a calculator to the store. Oh, and paying with cash only.
I only use half as much detergent in the washer as the box says. That way it lasts twice as long.
My coupons are always a mess, so this would be great!
My Advice: DOn’t shop! lol! Actually, it works for me. If I stay out of the stores, then I don’t spend money!
My best money-saving tip is to buy as little meat as possible. I read a book called Slaughterhouse, and it changed the way I look at meat. Reading that book has actually saved us money, and helped us stop cruelty.
A $ saving tip is to buy seasonal stuff the day after the holiday for the next year.
I save money by going to yard sales in the spring and summer.
Thats funny, I am organizing my coupons while cruising the web. This thing is great, has all the things my book is missing.
Sounds like this would be a great help. I stock up on things when they are on sale and I buy a lot of my pantry staples at the nearby Middle Eastern market where they are dirt cheap. Farmer’s markets often have great product for good prices as well.
Money saving tip is simply…grow your own fruits and veggies!!!
We save a lot of money by buying a 1/2 cow every year come tax time. I call up a local farmer and we always get a great deal. It seems like quite a bit of up front cash, but this year I spent around $600 for somewhere around 330 pounds of beef. So, roughly $1.90 per pound for everything from very lean ground beef to T-bones and roasts. My money is also staying local and I know how these cattle are raised, treated and taken care of.
WOW cool organizer. Boy do I need organizing. My money saving tip is always buy on sale and use coupons. I love finding coupons and I have my girls practice with their scissors cutting them out. They are getting really good now, at first only have them practice on ones you don’t really need.
Wow what a great product and boy could I use this. All my coupons are in a plain envelope.
Thanks for your contest!
This would be perfect for me. I’m currently 3 weeks behind in sorting my coupons.
Since my coupon organizer is an envelope that rips after a couple of weeks.
One thing I do is I check out the sales in the weekly flyer and (if there is time) check websites of high price items that are on sale that I need to buy and get a coupon from the company website, usually you can print them out.
Here are a few of mine:
Use plastic grocery shopping bags as bathroom wastebasket liners.
Save the wrappers of stick margarine to grease pans, etc.
Save bread ties to use to close food packages.
At Walmart, price match ads and use with coupons to get items cheap or free.
To save gas, do as many errands as possible in one trip and roll down the window instead of using air conditioner.
I NEED THIS! I spend a lot of time organizing and reorganizing. It’s worth the extra time with the money I save. My fav tip is to cut every coupon possible even if you don’t think you’ll use it. Then watch the store ads. When something goes on sale or the store offers a coupon, you can combine the store offer with a manufacturer offer to get the item for little or nothing. Even though you don’t need another bottle of shampoo, your crazy to pass up the $0.25 price! You’ll use it eventually!
I research on-line for coupons along with my regular coupons. My store always has double coupons along with airline mileage on purchases. I win with everything combined!
What a cool idea! I’d love to win this!!
Money saving tip: menu plan and make as much from scratch! Both of these will not only save tons of money, but also make for healthier meals!!
I clip coupons and buy generic
My tip is to wait a day or two before making a big purchase so you avoid buying on impulse and make sure it’s something you really want to spend the money on.
A lot of stores give you money back for using your own shopping bags, which also saves the environment! And buy in bulk the things you use a LOT of, this saves a lot of money in the long run! Hope I’m the lucky winner of this, I could use a new one, mine’s raggedy!
whohoooooooo entwer me
My best money saving tip is asking if there are any coupons or discounts available at this time at any business. A lot of time they will honor expired coupons or codes. I used this several times at Land of Nod with email codes that had expired the day before I use coupon code. I also have used it for Lands End. Another tip for shopping online is using “retailmenot.com’s” coupon codes!! It’s awesome!
My best money-saving tip is to plan my meals around items that I can purchase in bulk and save money. For example, Costco sells huge packages of mushrooms for much less than the little packages of mushrooms sold in the store. If I were to purchase a large package, but not use them all, money would be wasted. Planning a diverse range of meals over several nights that all use mushrooms, just makes good cents (grin!) For example, I might make beef burgundy, stuffed mushrooms, use them in salads, or make a chicken casserole. This also makes good sense if you are puchasing herbs, which can be expensive, yet you only ever seem to need them for one dish. Other items might include red peppers, chicken (though you can purchase a lot of this on sale and then freeze the extra), eggs for baking, etc.
There are interesting ways to find coupons besides the Sunday inserts. I have found them in magazines and lately….”Parade” Sunday magazine that comes with the newspaper.
Also, there a ton of blogs on ways to save money.
Thanks for the GREAT Giveaway!
