Couponizer

The Couponizer is an amazing organizational system for anyone who collects coupons. If you spend your shopping mornings going through your big old coupon envelope or sorting through your purse at the checkout line, you’ll want this handy tool.

The Couponizer is a small blinder filled with pockets all of your coupons. Each pocket is marked according to need. There are pockets for baking and staples, breakfast items, canned good – anything you need. Plus there are pockets for restaurants, the coupons that are about to expire, the coupons you’re about to use, even a pocket for receipts.

The Couponizer also comes with scissors, a carrying case, a coupon sorting mat, a shopping list pad and savings tracker.

One of the reasons many people don’t clip coupons is because it’s too much of a hassle, The Couponizer makes it less of a hassle. Once a week is all it takes to organize your coupons and then all you have to do is keep The Couponizer in your glove compartment and purse.

The Couponizer retails for $18.00 and is well worth the price.

  1. I want this so much! I was just thinking the other day how I am going to organize things.

  2. leloni says:

    By clipping coupons

  3. MARILOUISE K says:

For me the best way to save $$ is never run out to get something you feel you need to prepare a meal. Either change the menu or recreate it. I have never been able to run into a grocery store and come out with just 1 thing. This rule of thumb saves me money, time and even more importantly these days gasoline.

  4. Sandy says:

What a great coupon organizer! Where do you sell it? My best money saving tip is to reuse, repurpose and recook. Reuse sauces, veggies and leftover meat in casseroles or stews. Repurpose – I have used towels for wiping dishes and counters for years – older ones that are no longer good enough for the bathroom. Saves on paper towels. Recook – cook extra tomatoes down into the base of a soup or sauce. Cook extra onions and peppers down for a terrific summer sandwich. Freeze or can as much as possible!!! Fresh is ALWAYS better.

  5. Kristi says:

I’ve actually been looking for one of these in the stores and can’t find one anywhere. thanks for the entry.

  6. Amber S. says:

I would love to have a better organizer! I’ve been using an envelope and recently had a disaster with it. I was going through the coupons in the store and accidently dropped the envelope. My coupons went everywhere! It was really embarassing!

  7. Kari Follett says:

I always use coupons, and read the flyers for the best value. I’d love to win this!

  8. Rebecca Snodgrass says:

I would like to try this

  9. Candy says:

I keep my coupons in my car so that I have them with me. This comes in handy for last minute runs to the store!

  10. Pat Nelson says:

I need all the help I can get to get my coupons organized!

  11. Kathy Scott says:

After you clip the coupons you want, trade with a friend for the books. Not all families use the same things.

  12. hazel hunt says:

    nice

  13. Liz says:

My tip is to visit the Money Saving Mom blog and read about Walgreens 101 and CVS 101. I have started getting my toiletries almost for free. Between the store rebates and discounts and manufacturer coupons, you can get some amazing deals. I don’t have tons of time to plan it all out and reading the tips on money saving mom helps out alot!

  14. Tracylea says:

What a helpful idea. Thank you.

  15. Ginny says:

This is one of my biggest problems with coupons, this looks like it is a great way to organize them. One way that I save money is buy buying my drinks & snacks in bulk at the grocery store. Then I bring a cooler with me anytime we are going to be gone longer then an hour. The kids always get thirsty & drinks are $1.50+ each at gas stations, etc. Saves a lot of money + whining from the kids that they are thirsty or hungry. Also, not really a money tip, but I use one of those canvas bags that the grocery stores have been selling for .99 lately to keep snacks in the car all the time. Keeps them all in one place & I don’t have to worry about remember to grab snacks each day.

  16. Jes says:

Please enter me! My money saving tip is make a list and don’t bring the husband!

  17. Focus on big decisions and money. Don’t worry about things like .50 cent coupons until you have attacked much bigger decisions like getting raises, canceling cable, selling cars, insurance deductible, etc. As I grow, I realize that the energy I waste trying to get a few extra penny cheaper gas zaps my energy for way more important things. The positive net money outcome from focusing on bigger issues has been amazing.

  18. Leisha says:

My best money saver is chopping Super Wal-mart. It is one of the only stores I have nearby and price matching all of the sales of the stores within 50 miles. I save gas and just go once a week.

  19. kellybstampin says:

I’m not sure if anyone else posted this, but I’ve been using the Grocery Game to save money. I’ve finally understood how beneficial it is to combine coupons (esp when doubled) with sales. I stockpile when I can get items cheap or free and save SOOOO much money!

I guess it helps to be organized, though, so sorting my coupons into one of these organizers would certainly help me!

  20. kellybstampin says:

Oh, and another thing I just discovered. . . . I buy the foaming dish soap for doing my dishes. But the refills are so expensive. I finally just bought regular dish soap, squirt 5 times into the empty dispenser, add water, and VOILA, my own refill for a FRACTION of the cost! Hope that helps someone! : )

  21. Stephanie Kinchen says:

My money savings tips include getting the children to shut off lights & the tv when they are not using them. We have also taught them that the water doesn’t need to run the entire time that they are brushing their teeth or washing up. I was actually surprised @ the difference in the bills. Thanks!!

  22. Annabelle says:

I gave up on coupons because I lacked the ability to find a great way to organize them. I loved the rush I got when I saved, but it was such a hassle to dig through all the coupons and then realize the coupon I wanted to use was expired. This sounds like something for me!!

  23. Deborah Bozich says:

I always take my coupons, because I have seen “in-store” special that was not in the paper. Also before I check out I re-look at everything in my cart and ask myself..”Do I really need it and is it a good deal” Sometimes I put stuff back.

  24. Deepti says:

Currently I am a week behind in organzing my coupons and my idea for coupon organization is keeping them in envelopes which is not working.
My thrifty idea is to make weekly menu, shop for grocery items according to that.Dont go grocery shopping without a list. Also I wait for my stores to triple the coupons, that way i can stock up on non perishables.
I would love to have the coupon organizor. My email id is deeptisidana@yahoo.com

  25. Shilo Beedy says:

I always loose my coupons then find them after they have long expired. I usually shop at Aldi’s grocery store which has became a life saver. I also buy store brands which are sometimes even better then the name brand stuff. I usually look for deals at stores where you buy one item get the other free . I also go to the walmart website and fill out for free samples. I don’t think I will have to buy toothpaste for a long time since I have so many free samples.

  26. Chrystal says:

Compare your coupons to the sales ads every week to make sure you get the best deals.

  27. Holly says:

I shop 2 grocery stores each with for the specials that I have matched up with my coupons. And I plan my menu around what I have bought….I save on average half!

  28. Alissa says:

My best tip is a simple one: compare prices. Often smaller shops like Big Lots and Ollies will carry the same merchandise as the bigger chains for half the price!

  29. Rachel Fox says:

I save money by shopping around. We luckily have 3 grocery stores close by, so I always check the sale ads and write lists for each store.

  30. Angela J says:

Always shop the specials and keep coupons available to add to the savings.

  31. Marilyn says:

This is probably not what you’re expecting, but my greatest tip is to subscribe to LOTS of frugal/money saving/related blogs and sites. I couldn’t do it without the help of all of the authors. Y’all are the best!

  32. Monique Rizzo says:

I really enjoyed reading everyones tips. My biggest thing is Using coupons on Sale items to get things for little or even NO cost!

  33. Ronda Garnett says:

Money saving tip…Stay out of the stores unless you absolutely need something…the old -I want vs I really need..shop smarter not more :) AND send for every freebie that you see that you will use..can’t remember the last time I had to buy shampoo or toothpaste.
    Thanks for having the drawing.

  34. How cool. I would love to win this. My tip is to use the Amazon Subscribe and Save service. I get 144 Huggies Size 3 diapers delivered to my front porch monthly for just $27.00. I also have them deliver my Senseo coffee. No tax, no shipping.

  35. Heather G says:

My best money saving tip is to menu plan and make a grocery list. This keeps me from impulse buying at the store.

  36. Lacie says:

Maybe this could help me??!! :)

  37. Wanda says:

Enter me please. I need this.

  38. Amy says:

We buy all groceries in cash – much easier to stay in budget that way!

  39. Jennifer M. says:

I stick with seasonal produce, which is cheaper and better. I plan my meals around what is available, rather than buying what I planned.

  40. What a great giveaway. My best advice is to shop at a CVS if you have one near you. Take advantage of their Extra Bucks program and get amazing items for next to nothing or nothing!

  41. Kacy says:

Best money saving tip…hmmm…lately, shopping at CVS has been a wonderful blessing to our family. The extra care program is just awesome for buying household & personal care items. Another tip is to get (or stay) DEBT FREE!!! Taking Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University is a great way to learn about making your money work for you so you feel more confident and empowered.

  42. Jerri says:

I would love to win this!

My tip: Save money on chicken by stocking up on fryers when they are sale (in my area a good sale price is $0.68 per pound), put them in the freezer and then roast several together at a time in the oven (I cook 4 at a time in a turkey roaster at 350 degrees for about 2-2.5 hours – this makes enough meat for two dinners for my big family). After they have cooled a bit, strip off all the meat and put into ziploc freezer bags in the correct portions for the meals you make. For instance I usually use 8-9 cups of chicken meat per meal for my big family, so I make up bags of those sizes to stick in the frig. Saves a lot of money if you, like me, are used to buying boneless, skinless chicken breasts, even at Costco prices!

  43. Christina says:

My best money saving tip is check recycling centers or paper bins for Sunday’s paper. I hardly ever have to buy a paper and often am able to get multiple coupon inserts for a week by doing this.

  44. jeanette malan says:

holiday items the day after the holiday

  45. Sandra Branstetter says:

Save all coupons and keep them organized so you can use them when sale ads come out. I check all sale items for coupons and I only make bi weekly trips and combine with Sam’s trip for other needed items.

  46. Wanda says:

I agree with some of the others. One of the best way to save money is to stay home and to re-use things that you can.

  47. Courtney says:

My best money saving tip used to be to stay out of stores:-) However, with the advent of online shopping, that’s not so great anymore.

Unless I know the item is at a fabulous price, I write it down and don’t purchase it for 30 days. Most of the time, I forget about it. If I don’t, I watch for the coveted item to go on sale.
    Great giveaway!

  48. Ebie says:

i think all of my tips have been given, but i can say i’m a big coupon clipper, never go anywhere w/o them!

  49. Dan says:

My wife would love for me to get this so I’d have one place to put coupons and I could easily take it with me when I do the toiletry or grocery shopping.

  50. Joan Barrett says:

I would love to win this! My coupons fly all over the place at the grocery store. When I get up to the cashier, I can’t find them. They are either shoved down in my purse, in my pocket or fell down an aisle somewhere. Please help me get organized!!
