Couponizer

The Couponizer is an amazing organizational system for anyone who collects coupons. If you spend your shopping mornings going through your big old coupon envelope or sorting through your purse at the checkout line, you’ll want this handy tool.

The Couponizer is a small blinder filled with pockets all of your coupons. Each pocket is marked according to need. There are pockets for baking and staples, breakfast items, canned good – anything you need. Plus there are pockets for restaurants, the coupons that are about to expire, the coupons you’re about to use, even a pocket for receipts.

The Couponizer also comes with scissors, a carrying case, a coupon sorting mat, a shopping list pad and savings tracker.

One of the reasons many people don’t clip coupons is because it’s too much of a hassle, The Couponizer makes it less of a hassle. Once a week is all it takes to organize your coupons and then all you have to do is keep The Couponizer in your glove compartment and purse.

The Couponizer retails for $18.00 and is well worth the price.

I just bought this a couple of weeks ago and love it. I would love to win one for my mom. They really keep your coupons organized. Thanks

  2. Tarah says:

I keep my coupons handy and make sure I buy the esseintals on sale and stock up. When one store has the paper towel we use on sale, I’ll stock up on the better price.

  3. Monique says:

My best money saving tip is to not shop and stay busy. I know it sounds obvious, but ever since having a new baby, I just don’t get out to shop anymore. My husband stops for groceries on the way home and since he’s pressed for time, sticks to the list. I only venture off on errands for very necessary things and we’ve been saving lots of money!

  4. Elise Smith says:

buy “sale” items, bulk, use coupons, make a week’s meal plan and only shop once a week.

  5. Lots of coupons are available online. Just make use of them.

I’m having 4 GIVEAWAYS on my blog as well. Hope you’ll stop by.

never ever ever – ever – buy a NEW car, used only
    combine shopping trips
    eat home
cook two meals and once and freeze one
hang clothes on line to dry, fluff 2 loads for 10 min.
    shall I go on?

  7. Vicki Wurgler says:

I need this! I do use coupons and watch for sales. I buy what is in season and the store’s brand of canned goods

  8. Margaret Herrin says:

    Couponing!

  9. R Hicks says:

This would really help me organize all of my loose coupons!

  10. Carma says:

I have tried and tried and tried to be an avid couponer. I WANT so badly to be an avid couponer. I guess I just didn’t have the right “tools” to do it. This prize looks like JUST what I need to make my dream of being an expert couponer come true! Thank you for offering such a wonderful prize in the giveaway. Good luck everyone!

  11. holly says:

i just started couponing and this looks amazing…

My earth day inspired money-saving tip is this: reduce, reuse, recycle!! when i started paying attention i realized how much i waste and how much i buy that i dont need! REDUCE- 1) your costs– by couponing 2) your needs– menu planning to use what you have, REUSE- think of clever ways to make what you already own work for you. you probably can make do better than you think. RECYCLE- cans and bottles for extra $, and sell any items you dont need or want anymore

  12. lisa says:

avoid late fees, and fees for using ATM systems. there is always a wal-mart nearby, and you can get some gum or something and get cash back from your debit card. gum is cheaper than the usual $4.50 ATM fee.

  13. Keryn says:

Before I go buy any clothes at a regular store, I go to the thrift stores (Goodwill-type) and try to really look at as much as I can (with three kids, this is sometimes an exercise in patience rather than thriftiness). I sometimes find good stuff, and then I don’t feel the urge to buy new stuff in other places.

  14. Jeanie says:

My money saving tip is to never shop on an empty stomach. If you do you buy more than you need just because you are hungry.

  15. My best money saving tip on groceries is very SNEAKY!!!
Anytime my teenagers will be home from school (a minor holiday or inservice), I make sure to go grocery shopping AFTER that holiday. They WILL find something to eat in the cabinets, but if we have a newly stocked kitchen when they are home all day alone…they will eat everything to the week in ONE DAY! SNEAKY, huh?

Thank you for doing this giveaway.

  16. Lanae says:

The best tip I can share is to shop alone and carry a calculator. Sometimes the “economy” packages are more expensive and that’s where the calculator comes in handy. Plus, when your alone you have less distractions and can concentrate on getting the best deal. Take your time and pay attention.
Thanks for this contest. It sure would be a handy thing to have.

  17. I pull out cash for my monthly household budget. Then I know how close I’m getting to overspending. When I use the card, I never know.

  18. Linda Lansford says:

Don’t buy useless items and yard sale often.

  19. Anna says:

I clip every single coupon I come across. The ones I don’t use I give away a care center.

  20. Tracy says:

What a great idea! I am brand new to couponing and I’ve been looking for a way to become more organized.

  21. I’ll try anything that helps with coupons! Thanks for offering this!

  22. R Hackett says:

Go to the grocery store AFTER dinner when you are no longer hungry!

  23. Tamara Straughn says:

Boy do I need some organization !

  24. Beverley Justice says:

Good idea – and I need organization!

  25. Erica G says:

I love coupons, b ut my organization isn’t so great. I always make a list before I go grocery shopping and I stick to it. If I don’t then staying on a budget flies out the window.

  26. Janelle says:

    1. never go to the store hungry
    2. plan out your menu for the next 1-2 weeks and write a list of the things you need for the recipes
    3. buy extra “staple” items when they are on sale (when canned diced tomatoes are on sale, I’ll buy an extra 5 cans or so knowing that I use them in multiple recipes so time in the near future)
    4. be honest with yourself (and your budget) and include on your list those so called impulse buys and set a limit (I usually set a limit of $10 for “junk” like candy; also, try to buy it if it’s on sale or I if you know it can be used for double duty like decorations on a cake or additional snacks if you know you’ll have guests)

  28. Wendy says:

The best money-saving tip I can give aside from the ones already mentioned (use coupons combined with sales, go without hubby or kids, make a list, stock up on sales, etc) is to find a blog or two of some really good frugal shoppers (there are many!), subscribe to them, and follow the tips and links they share. From the advice and coupon links I’ve gotten online, I’ve saved at least $100 in the last 2-3 weeks. I’ve started to learn how to “play the game” so well, my husband has been bragging about me at work (and he works in a grocery store!)

I could definitely put this organizer to good use. The one I have is a tiny thing with only 13 pockets. I thought that would be plenty, but now that I’m really getting into it, it’s not nearly enough! Thanks for the chance to win!

  29. Doreen says:

I usually don’t get to go out other than to work LOL soooo I spend less! If I do go shopping, I use coupons!!

  30. Lynn says:

I could use this!!! My money saving tip is shop CVS with an extra care card!! Then earn Extra Care Bucks that works like cash!! I get wonderful tips and ideas from several sites on money making deals @ CVS each week!!
Thanks for offering this wonderful prize!

  31. Leah says:

I was going to get one of these, but i’ll wait and see if I win one first! :) My biggest money saving tip is cooking at home. I have a lot of friends who eat out a lot, and it is just too expensive. At $40 per meal, you can end up spending hundreds per month! I make a menu, clip coupons, and save a ton making wonderful food right at home! And it’s heathier too.

  32. Debbie says:

Pay in cash and keep coupons handy.

  33. Tammy says:

We buy only the books we need to have to use for a long period of time, otherwise we head over to that establishment called “the Library”, we borrow our movies from there as well.

  34. WOO HOO! I really need this!

I don’t know if this is our best tip, but it’s our most recent. In Jan our co-pay for prescription drugs went up. It also changed where we have to go to mail order if we are on the same prescription for more than 3 months. In one case, the mail thing is cheaper. In one case for us it isn’t. Walgreens is offering a discount card for $35..with that card, they have my name brand prescription that I need & it will be $12.99 for a 90 day supply! It’s a HUGE savings for us!

  35. Cindy says:

I have discovered that I can recycle my aluminum cans, cardboard boxes and newspapers for CASH! It’s green… and I make green! Great giveaway! I’ve been looking for something for all my coupons.

  36. Scarlett says:

Do all of your shopping at stores near each other at the same time to save on gas- it’s over $3.50/gallon here!

  37. chanelireli says:

I’ve never been a successful coupon shopper. Hopefully this will help. I plan menus around the sales and then shop sticking to my list.

  38. Debbie Criss says:

I’m a recyclist. I find a home for everything ,someone else could use it.
Lately I stopped using credit cards.
    Please enter me, thank you

  39. Rebecca says:

My latest money-saving tip is to meal plan. On top of that if you plan your meals around what’s on sale and combine it with coupons, you can save so much money. Thanks for the opportunity to win.

  40. Jessica says:

Find a grocery store that triples coupons

  41. marleen davis says:

Keep a list of what you’re getting low on and when the item(s) go on sale, stock up and use coupons. That way you save a lot.

  42. Suzie says:

Shop at CVS! They have the greatest deals with their extra bucks offers. ECB are as good as cash and this week they are giving away FREE softsoap body wash. You buy it for $4.99 and get $4.99 in Extra Care Bucks printed on your receipt. I have $1.50 off coupons and even though I used them on the body wash, I still got back $4.99 so they PAID ME to buy it essentially! Rite Aid and Walgreens also have free stuff all the time when you do their rebate programs! I must have at least 30 razors under my sink and I sent about 20 tubes of toothpaste to Iraq… all of it was FREE, FREE, FREE!!!

To get started, check your Sunday ads in the newspaper and see what freebies they have. Hotcouponworld.com is also a great reference!

  43. Well, this would sure come in handy. If I win, I promise I’ll start clipping coupons.

  44. evi says:

I would LOVE to have this coupon-organizer! My tip is to REALLY think about purchasing. Don’t listen to sales-people who tell you “on sale only for today” or “this is my last piece, grab it now” – if you see something you want, turn around and go home. Write it down on a piece of paper and look at it again after three days – do you still HAVE to have it? Or has it become a mere WANT than a MUST? If you still have to have it, you can give in to temptation – or give yourself another three days: doing research on how and where you could get it for a better price (maybe another brand? maybe used? maybe slightly different, but just as useful? who knows…). And then: you’re in and have deserved it, have fun with you new treasure! ;-)
Also: when you get a new item, throw out an old one (maybe via ebay, so the new item gets a little more affordable). This way, you have to think of something you have to giveaway for each new thing. Do you have anything you would get rid of for the new stuff? Or are you actually content and blessed with the things you already owned but just have “forgotten” to look at them and treasure them?

  45. Carrie says:

Never grocery shop when you’re hungry!! Even a meal from McD’s would be cheaper than how much more you’d spend on impulse items….

  46. Ashley BB says:

Coupons, of course, and buying in bulk. Thanks for the chance to win!

  47. Patti says:

We tried to put all of our shopping into one weekly trip. It is less gas and less stress on the kids, having to run out everyday with me!

  48. Debbie says:

I spent some quality time recently doing a thorough inventory of my two freezer, pantry, and refrigerator. I have master lists of each of these. Now, I am going to websites that allow me to enter ingredients and give me suggestions of meals to use them in. I am now spending less than $100 per week on groceries for 6 people (three teenagers!). And that is 3 meals a day. No one eats out. The savings won’t last forever, but I’ll get a clean freezer (time to defrost) and pantry and we’re getting some fun meals!
