Couponizer

The Couponizer is an amazing organizational system for anyone who collects coupons. If you spend your shopping mornings going through your big old coupon envelope or sorting through your purse at the checkout line, you’ll want this handy tool.

The Couponizer is a small blinder filled with pockets all of your coupons. Each pocket is marked according to need. There are pockets for baking and staples, breakfast items, canned good – anything you need. Plus there are pockets for restaurants, the coupons that are about to expire, the coupons you’re about to use, even a pocket for receipts.

The Couponizer also comes with scissors, a carrying case, a coupon sorting mat, a shopping list pad and savings tracker.

One of the reasons many people don’t clip coupons is because it’s too much of a hassle, The Couponizer makes it less of a hassle. Once a week is all it takes to organize your coupons and then all you have to do is keep The Couponizer in your glove compartment and purse.

The Couponizer retails for $18.00 and is well worth the price.

I need this! My coupons are in a recipe box, totally unorganized!

Money saving tip: Eat at home!

  2. Shari Bowen says:

    My money saving tip:

I think your best bet is to dig deep and look around at your resources. For example, up here in Maine we have a great store called Caswells. Caswells buys the stuff that major supermarkets have overstock in. This is an excellent plave for us to buy cereal and canned goods at. There is nothing wrong with the food and the savings is unbelievable! See what you have in your area!

  3. Bridget Dell says:

My coupons are a disaster and I’m in need of a coupon organizer, thanks for sharing.

  4. Christina R says:

Getting more than one copy of the sunday paper can save you more money than you could ever imagine. With multiple copies you can bulk up on products that you like that go on sale.

  5. Holly Blanco says:

I like to shop in the early mornings while my kids are still asleep. I stick to my shoppiing list and use coupons. I try to set aside the amount saved from the coupons and use that to stock up on things when they are on a good sale. If I have it already in stock, I can use my grocery money better on the things that aren’t on sale.

Send in rebates as soon as I get home from the store, if not they get forgotten, and it is then money wasted.

  6. Frances says:

I am looking into new coupon organizing systems – would love to give this one a try! I bring my water bottle everywhere and thus rarely need to buy drinks when I need to grab a bite to eat somewhere.

  7. Kirsten says:

We don’t buy off brand cereals. No one eats them and by combining coupons and watching for those Buy 10 save 5 dollar sales like Albertson’s has, we end up getting brand name cereals for a buck a box.

  8. Becca says:

I have recently become a coupon clipper, but this system is much better than my little envelope file. When I know we’re going out to eat or going shopping at a particular store I try to check the restaraunt’s/store’s website for coupons. I’ve been surprised at how many times I’ve found coupons there. The website called “A Full Cup” is also great for linking to coupons and coupon codes.

  9. Bobbie says:

I could use this my old one is terrible, thanks for doing this giveaway.

Beware of coupons that entice you to buy things you really don’t need. I use coupons at a grocery store that doubles coupons under $100. Therefore, a $0.75 coupon is better than a $1.25 coupon. Unless I desperately need the item, I only purchase it if I have a coupon and the item is also on sale. If you really need something, but don’t have a coupon, go to the manufacturer’s website and see if they have a coupon available to print out before you go to the store.

  11. DIYMommy says:

Using cloth diapers is my biggest money saving tip right now. I calculated that we saved over $700 in just 8 months by going with cloth!

I just started collecting coupons – I could really use this!

  12. Sherry says:

We have just finished an “update” in our home. One of the best ways that we have saved money is by painting our lamps, towel holders, toliet paper holders, light fixtures, and wicker trash can. We bought a can of spray primer and a can of bronze spray paint. Everything looks great, and we saved a lot of money and kept things from the landfill!

  13. Robin says:

I always look for meat that is on its last sellby date, and stock it up in my freezer. I also look for bogo sales, and use coupons. This organizer would certainly come in handy for me.

  14. Allison says:

Currently, my biggest money saver is not eating out and making my bread at home. I wish I could own a cow with the cost of milk these days, but this’ll do for now! I’d love to try this– I’m new to coupon clipping!

  15. Nicholas Karpen says:

My wife would love this. she clips coupons like no one I know. She buys 5 extra Sunday papers just for the coupons. I love her for it.

  16. Sarah A. says:

Anything to help keep my coupons organized would be wonderful. Thanks!

  17. Beth says:

I feel great when I save money by using coupons, but they sure are difficult to keep organized! I’d love this!

I save money by using coupons on items that are on sale at the store. I also pay attention to whether the store brand is a better price than a national brand. And also if buying a larger size is worth it. I’ve cut back drastically on eating out, which has been saving me lots of money and I eat healthier, too! I also try not to buy non-grocery items (clothes and shoes) unless I have a coupon. There’s no reason to ever pay full price for something at Macy’s, Kohls, Express, JC Penney…they seem to always have a coupon going on.

  18. Gauntlets says:

I just started coupon clipping as I’ve just recently been given the privilege of staying home with my kids. But here’s what I do to save us a bit of money:

I shop only once a month for all our groceries and household items. I spend about a week developing a menu for the month and compiling my lists. Then on the first Friday of the month (Friday is Dad’s day off) I leave the kids with Dad, fill a thermos full of coffee, and hit severals stores in two towns in one day. It’s kind of fun, actually–an adventure. And because I’ve got a schedule to keep and only so much cash to spend, I don’t waste time browsing around the stores and impulse buying a bunch of stuff I may want but don’t need.

Once-a-month shopping also frees up some of my gas budget for day trips with the kids. We only get out of the house one day a week; it’s nice that now we don’t have to spend our day out at Walmart. :)

    Thanks for your giveaway!

  19. Lisa Fosses says:

I use grocery coupons and restaurant coupons. I organize them into categories so that I’m always ready to use them

  20. Sarah Norman says:

My best money saving tip is to check out http://www.thegrocerygame.com . I have saved so much money since starting this and my pantry is so much fuller. I have enough tolietries stocked up to last until my kids are grown! I would love to try the couponizer!

  21. Kimberly says:

I’ve been eyeing these… keep thinking I should get one, maybe I’ll win one :)

My best tip is of course… coupons! .. Combining coupons with sale items is the best way to save money on groceries hands down.

Our cabinets and fridge is full of stuff and I pay very little for food.. not to mention cleaning supplies and health/beauty items… it’s all about the coupons! :)

  22. Alison says:

My money saving tip is to use your local library. It’s nice to “try out” a book before you commit to buying it and it’s also great to have new books and videos each week without spending a dime!

  23. I’m pretty new to the coupon thing, but I have found that organizing my coupons into categories and then paper clipping them together helps me find what I need at the store. My best money saving idea is probably buying the Entertainment coupon book for my area. That way we can still go out to dinner and fun events, but usually get buy one get one free for whatever we are doing.

  24. Janice J says:

This would sure help me out, my envelope is always full and hard to find what I’m after.
My tip, make a grocery list, use coupons, and shop sales. Also use your leftovers for soup, you can make a great soup out of just about any leftovers.

  25. Wanda says:

Add me again. I need a new organizer.

  26. faith says:

I’d LOVE to win this….it would be SO helpful. Thanks for the great giveaway!

  27. Krystal Deblasio says:

buy things that are on sale or buy store brand items.

  28. Karen says:

One way I save money is to sign up at different stores to be on their mailing list. I often get email offers from them about special sales. They often send coupons in the mail, and also some printable ones by email.

  29. Adena says:

I try to plan menus around what’s on sale. I never pay full price for anything. I buy clothes at consignment shops and buy used or swap. i have saved a bundle at paperbackswap.com.

  30. Jessica says:

I’d love to win the couponizer. I try to be as frugal as possibe by using coupons and combining those with store sales/coupons. I also adore CVS!

  31. I don’t use many coupons—mostly because we don’t get them in our Sunday paper. But I’d like to have an easy way to organize the ones I find.

  32. Scott Jensen says:

I always shop at the same store, so I organize my coupons into one envelope for each isle of the store. There are many un-advertised sales and this helps to match things up quicker.

  33. Steve Jansen says:

I consider myself a professional couponer. I can read the dollar amound on the bar code numbers and usually shave 80% off my grocery bill. There are many tricks, some nice, some not.
If you want some advice, email me at zboltcoup1@yahoo.com

  34. Jennifer Short says:

I love coupons and a great way to save money is if a drugstore is offering something free after rebate or bucks that print out when you check out, use a coupon. Sometimes you can MAKE money and get an item free. Today I paid $2.99 for some deoderant after coupon, and got $3.99 to spend next time I go to the store!

  35. jen says:

I love to shop for bargains! My specialty is finding very trendy and chic clothes for super low prices. When you pay attention to department store sales and shop clearance sections you can find awesome deals! You’d also be surprised what you can find if you travel to the Goodwill/Thrift Stores in the wealthiest parts of town. When my husband and I were in college we eloped and he wore a gorgeous designer suit we bought at Goodwill for $16!

  36. Amanda Perron says:

    Walgreens rebates plus coupons!!

  37. Beth says:

I am trying so hard to use coupons more but the whole ’shoving them all in an envelope’ thing isn’t working too well! This would be a huge help!

  38. Sandy Y says:

My tip would be to cut all coupons, not just ones for products you use. There may be a sale in the future that will allow you to get an item you wouldn’t normally buy for free when combined with a coupon. This is a great way to try new products or donate to a shelter in your area.

  39. Chrysa says:

Sounds great. Thanks for the giveaway!

  40. Autumn Howard says:

I always do the price comparison at Walmart, so I only buy things that are on sale somewhere. Plus, I always always use coupons. Especially if I have a $1 off coupon for say Dove and it doesn’t require a minimum ounce size, I will get the travel which is less than a dollar, so I get it for free!

  41. stacee says:

this looks awesome. I’ve recently started trying to use coupons again and i could really use some help. love the info you provide!

  42. Amanda says:

Wow. I could really use this. If you could only see my stack of coupons clippings. To save, I do most of my grocery shopping at Publix, so that I can get the BOGO deals. Of course, I use coupons (publix doubles), and I always shop with a list.

  43. Catherine copeland says:

my best money savings tip is actually not new but tried and true. Buy low and stock up. I wait for sales and combine them with coupons and if I can fnd a rebate that makes it a trifecta.

  44. Melissa Er-Raqabi says:

just getting into couponning, and boy could I use something like this

  45. katklaw777 says:

Buy local and seasonal! Then process and FREEZE! Prices are at their lowest, produce is freshest and healthiest and buying local helps you save money on gas. Good for your budget and the environment!
I also try to double duty my coupons by waiting for items to go on sale then using my coupon. Peace!

  46. My tips: use couponmom.com to match coupons with the current sale and plan your menus around what’s on sale for the week and stock up on the really good sale items. Use a coupon clipping service to get coupons for items you know you use a lot or items that you know go on sale a lot.
Also, knowledge is power. Know your store’s policies. I just posted about this on my blog. Yesterday – I got a free 8oz pack of hormel pepperoni because it rang up incorrectly and I get it for free when it does. You have to know what the price is listed as on the shelf and watch the price when the cashier rings it up. That’s why I always look at the screen to see the price each item rings up as. This just happens to be my supermarket’s policy that they give it to you free if it rings up incorrectly. Check with your local stores.

  48. Jennifer Callahan says:

OMGOSH! I need Help!! The Couponizer looks perfect! The only tip I can contribute is to keep any restraunt coupons or coupon saver books ( the fundraiser books the kids sell) in your car. I can’t tell how many times I have gotten mad at myself for leaving the wonderful restraunt coupons at home.. or the bottom of my last purse. Actually, I think the Couponizer would help with this, since it has a pocket for restraunts!

  49. My best advice for money saving ideas..TALK!! YUP CHAT with people… be friendly… I was chatting the other day with people about my desire to start chickens… Well.. little did I know.. they had feeders and nesting boxes to give away!! for FREE!! WOO HOO!!

I’ve gotten a many great items that I’ve “dreamed” of having by sharing my hearts desires.. this weekend I SCORED 5 vintage tableclothes and other items for $3.00 for all.. because I spoke about loving vintage fabric.. and the next thing I know.. I got a phone call.. with a “GUESS WHAT….”

It’s always GREAT to be kind to others.. and chat and share.. because you know what.. you might find great deals..and you might also bless someone too.. who won’t forget you next time!!

  50. warillever says:

    Sounds great!
I would love to win this.
