We went to the big city last night (heehee) and stopped by Super Target. I found some good grocery deals.
Egglands Best eggs are $1.47/dozen. This is a great price, as regular large eggs cost more than this sale price. I bought 3 dozen!
Jones All Natural Sausage are on sale for $1.25 per package of 10 links. Then, there is a coupon on the box to save $1 on 2 boxes.
Kraft shredded cheese is $2 per 8 oz package. And if you can find a coupon, even better.
Top round steak is $1.99/lb. These kinds of steaks are great for stir fry and fajitas, which is a fave around here. I bought 4 packages.
Pork roast is $2.19/lb. I bought a 2-3 lb roast and will use this to make Mexican taquitos one meal and chilie verde (new recipe) for church.

It just cracks me up to hear you say you went to “the big city”!
Just wait until you come to visit. You’ll see that I have to go to the big city to shop. We don’t have much around here.
My aunt came to see me a few weeks ago. She said, “Wow. You used to live out in the country before, but you really live out in the country now.”
HI Karen, I was just mentioning this on Jennifer’s blog also.
There is this website that gives cashback on all purchases at major stores.
It’s called http://www.thebrandsclub.com. I know I have seen Target on there, I think ( please check) that the cashback is either 1 or 2% and that’s on top of any online deals. I was saying to Jennifer, that what I did, was sign up for newsletters from all my top stores, so this way I know when the deals are and then I log in to my brands club account and shop from there to get the cashback
AND I put it on my cashback credit card! The savings add up fast.
