Happy Labor Day!

September 3, 2007 by Karen Weideman

I’m sure most of you have the day off today.  We just got home.  We’ve spent half our day at doctor’s appointments.  Yes, they’re open on Labor Day.  Alligator had her 4-year-old check-up.  I was glad that DH was there to help with Cuddlebug while I was talking with the doctor and then to help comfort Alligator while getting her shots.

Today is a good day for sales.  Many stores are trying to get rid of all their summer things.  You can buy summer clothing for just a few dollars each.

So, what are you up to today?  Relaxing, shopping, sleeping, enjoying family time?

we usually visit the outlet stores on the first day of long weekend.
That is the day you get the best deals on everything. We usually buy our dear DS’s clothes but always of bigger sizes. Also we buy his clothes in opposite seasons. That way we buy winter clothes in clearance in summer and vice versa.I have got very good deals that way.Bought a double sided jacket and a rain jacket in $17 from osh kosh (originally priced at $67).
Got very good quality shirts from Children’s place in $2 each.We bought some to be given as gifts as well.
A great tip when you go shopping in outlet stores.Visit the outlet stores website and register there to become a member. That way you can access all the coupons and print them. Those are very good bargains.
One more thing-If you buy anything from the GAP stores you can fill in an online survey and they email a coupon using which we can get 15% off on our net purchase.
