Harris Teeter is having a super double coupon sale. They will double coupons with a face value of $1.98 or less.
I went shopping yesterday with a 3 and 5-year-old. Yay, me! I made it out alive and with some bargains as well. I hope to make it back in before the sale goes off, but here’s what I got today:

I got all of these groceries for around $20. It would have been less, but I was supposed to get the 4 oz baby cereals. I don’t need them, but was anticipating buying them for $.39 and donating them to the church food bank. They were stocked in the wrong place. This could have happened with several other items, but I noticed it myself. It seems the people that stock the shelves put things in other areas when they run out of room. It is annoying, but seems to happen at every store, so be careful.
I’m pleased with my deals, but feel like I could have done better if I wasn’t trying to shop with two children. I hope to share some more bargains with you later in the week.

Looks like you did well. I had 2 $1 coupons from eatbetteramerica.com for “any Muir Glen product”, so I planned to buy some cans of organic diced tomatoes. They’re regularly $2.45. I noticed on the back of some a tear off coupon for
$1 off this product if you buy any can of Muir Glen soup, so I went to the soup aisle. Soups were in the large cans for $2.79 each, so I got 2 cans organic diced tomatoes at .45 each and 2 big cans of organic soups at .79 each.
Also the Cheerios and Oatmeal Crisp cereals were on sale for $2 per box and I had coupons for each ($1/2) so I got each box of cereal for $1.
I also had 2 .75 coupons for Wacky Mac pasta left from Smartsource.com a few weeks ago, they are normally 1.59 so 2 big bags of pasta for .09 each.

I did my second HT trip today! I am so missing the Triples though. I did have a good trip though. I used my $1 off Starbucks coupon for a can drink they have that are $2 each.. so free after Q. I haven’t tried them yet.
I’m heading out there again today too, without kids!!!! Woohoo! I hope to get some more deals.
