Sorry, there were a few coupons that I could not remember the exact coupon amount. As you can see, with triple coupons, you can save a lot on your grocery bill by buying ahead/stockpiling items while they’re at their lowest prices. I hope that I’ll have time to shop one more time before the triple coupon sale ends on Tuesday.
Did you shop at Harris Teeter this week? How’d you do?

Could you explain how to do this to a 1st timer?? I have the coupons, but it seems so overwhelming when I go!
Tammy, I used to use The Grocery Game but now I live in a very rural area and had to find another system since there are not a lot of stores around. Harris Teeter is about 30 minutes away, so it’s not a store that I visit regularly. However, since they’ve been having so many triple coupon and super double coupon sales, I find it worth my while to drive there.
Now I’m using a coupon binder. You may find this system helpful for you. It is very time consuming, but the savings are tremendous! Of course, you don’t have time right now to get a coupon binder together before a shopping trip this week. For now, I would recommend looking through your coupons and pulling out the ones that you think you can use (these should mostly consist of 50 and 75 cent coupons and some items that you regularly use). Then I would paperclip them together by section – condiments and canned goods, pasta and rice, cereal and breakfast food, cleaning supplies, hygiene, dairy and frozen, etc. That way, when you’re shopping at Harris Teeter you can pull out that section for the particular aisle that you’re on. Or instead of paper clipping them, you could put them into envelopes by store section.
Hope this helps. Let me know you have any more questions.
