um, I have 3 children….you want a box per year per child?? That’s 39 boxes!
Actually I’ve started scanning my favorites and I’m a lot more liberal about tossing stuff.

I agree. Who needs all this extra plastic either??
Better idea: File folders with tabs per child, per year. When you’re ready you can scan and de-clutter.

  3. I have chosen to go all out digital. If i like something, it gets photographed or scanned. Every item is marked with a data and is easy to sort out.

The same goes with bills and other paper documents. I toss stuff on a daily basis.

I actually use a similar idea with 3 kids. I have a vertically stacked 3 drawer plastic piece. Each kid gets a bin and I keep homework in there, etc. As it gets full I transfer everything. I do like the idea of the pictures for larger items, I need to do that more!!

As far as going digital, there are some pieces that I couldn’t bear to completely part with. It’s a tangible piece that they can look at years from now, instead of just a scan or picture.
