Improvising with the Old Baby Toys

So I sent my husband out for puppy stuff yesterday and he got food and a collar but forgot bowls and stuff to chew on. Bowls were no problem, we have plenty of Chinese take out containers that will do. Toys were another problem. Carter the puppy was really digging my son’s toys.
I planned to go out this morning and get some chewy stuff but my son came down with something overnight and it wasn’t to be. So I improvised. I went down into the basement and dug through my son’s old baby toys. I found some that appeared to be doggy safe. Some old balls, some rubber blocks, and a couple of other odds and ends I knew wouldn’t harm a little puppy.
I always say everything has at least two uses. Now I know it’s true of baby toys too.

What a great way to reuse toys!
Congrats on the new puppy! I actually did a post at THF on the RecycleBone a yesterday. It’s from Planet Dog.
Be careful with the rubber blocks. Dogs have teeth and can chew right through them. You don’t want the little one to swallow it and choke!
I don’t know what kinds of stores you have in your area, but I have found some great deals on animal toys at Dollar Tree, Big Lots, and Dollar General.
