Increase your stimulus check by 10%

What will you be using your stimulus check for? Will you be paying off a debt? Or will you buy groceries? Turns out, Sears, KMart, and Kroger have the right idea. If you take your check to one of these stores, you can cash the whole check in for gift cards at any of the stores and they will increase your gift card by 10%. Now if only Wal-Mart will do the same. I could buy a lot of diapers and wipes. I think I will be shopping at Kroger soon. They run great sales and double all the coupons $.50 or less. YEAH! What an easy way to save money.

I thought about doing that with Kroger, but we are having our check direct deposited, so I don’t know how that will work.

Christina.. Kroger is giving everyone a discount for each purchase of a $300 gift card (but you get $330 on the gift card), doesn’t matter if you have the check or not.

That’s nice. But who has $300 to spare jsut to get an extra $30. That is the brilliance of the stimulus check.
