Ironing is not what I want to do today.
I love reading blogs that are obviously from a different part of the world than I live. I have recently found Irish Craftworker. It is a great site for all kinds of crafts and ideas as to what to do with your kids. However, recently Rebecca has mentioned the long forgotten art of ironing. To be honest with you, in my house, ironing will be probably forgotten for a lot longer if it means that I loose a little bit of sleep in the mornings HAHA! I totally agree with her that our time as parents is better spent playing with our kids and taking a fraction of a second for ourselves than slaving over a hot iron that would probably just burn my favorite shirt. Nice to know that I have iron-free friends.

Oh, how I hate to iron!!! I intentionally buy things that don’t need ironing. The other day I finally had to make time to iron my daughter’s dresses. I think I had about 8 of them to do. You can tell it had been a while.
Its a relief to see that I’m not alone in the decision to shun ironing!
I don’t do any ironing… I love the old throw it in the dryer with a wet towel maneuver. I also like the sprays that help remove wrinkles.
