Keep your pets safe during Easter

With all the sad news coming out about pet food and recalls, I thought I would help you keep your pets safe for Easter. I ran across an interesting article form Thrifty Fun that tells of the every day Easter items that could be harmful to your pets.

  • Chocolate – of course! It can cause vomiting, diarrhea, hyperactivity, irregular heart beat, seizures, and death due to the Theobromine
  • Easter Grass – when digested, it can cause intestinal blockage
  • Easter lilies – kidney failure to cats
  • Small toys – choking hazard

Please keep your animals safe and happy and if you put Easter ears on your beloved pets, send us a picture.
