Each family got their own name and some significant symbols from sports teams or whatever. We made beef jerky - the only people who didn't get that gift were the vegetarians! I also made our own anti-plastic produce bags from scrap netting and yarn. I talked about all of these on my blog at various times...I consider myself a crafty person, but yeah, I usually get stuck in the ideas stage. I'm not so great at carrying them out!
