I went to the bank today. It pleases me to say that we are working on our steps to Financial Peace that we learned from Dave Ramsey. So, since his teachings are so fresh on my mind today, I stopped by his site and found this quote. Thought it was funny and wanted to share it with you.
DEBIT means CASH. CREDIT means CREDIT – and honey, we don’t do that around here!
So true! So true! My hubby and I aren’t rolling in the dough by any means, but we have begun to change our mind set about money and get on the same page together with our goals. That in itself has changed our finances so much.
If you’re looking for more information on Dave Ramsey, simply use the Thrifty Mommy search bar to your right, or go to Dave Ramsey’s website.

We are on the Dave Ramsey plan as well. We are currently using the debt snowball to attack our last loan (besides our mortgage). It feels so good to be hitting debt hard every month and to watch our debt dwindle away. We hope to be debt free in the next 6 months or so!
Congratulations Jodi!!! I know how great it feels.
We read his book and applied his principals and we are now debt free (still have a house payment but that is it).
Keep at it …it will happen!
